Daj Expeditions is founded by two best friends and its business based on this unique friendship. The principles that guide our business are reflected in this one word, TRUTH: Trust, Reliable, Unique, Transparent, and Humility.
When you visit Bhutan through us, we treat you more as a friend than a mere client. You can trust us to ensure your journey is a lasting memory. At Daj Expeditions, we take every step to help you seriously and we do everything we can to provide you with a reliable service. We understand you have options of choosing from hundreds of other tour companies. But, when you choose to work with us, we make sure you have a unique experience in Bhutan. We want to make it clear that our being here is to help you from the day you contact us until after your trip and even beyond that. Sonam Yoezer
Co-Founder
Sonam Yoezer, our Co-founder and General Manager, worked in different roles in various facets of Bhutanese tourism business. He is the gem of the company in Bhutan from all aspects. He also traveled abroad on couple of occasions and is passionate about helping those coming to Bhutan with utmost care. Sonam is also a keen hikers and loves photography & exploring new tourism products in the country and beyond.
Namgyel Dorji, Co-founder and our Operations Manager, who currently resides in the U.S. holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University, IL, USA. He is frequent traveler himself. He combines Western education with Eastern cultural knowledge to provide guests with trip of a life time. Having studied, lived, and worked in more than three countries and visited more than a dozen, he strives to give visitors to Bhutan a truly Bhutanese experience.
